Get your kids to eat healthy meals, especially when you're not around, can be a challenge. If you want your children to stop the food trade at the lunch table, it is time to be creative with these suggestions.

Think about what you can do the previous night, to make life easier. You can boil the eggs and keep them in the refrigerator. Cut fruits and vegetables. Dessert may be a party favorite your child for the lunch, but don't worry, you can always Pack a healthy treat that you both happy. A delicious idea is to make snack mix with dried fruit like raisins or dried cranberries, nuts, pretzels and goldfish crackers.

Another treatment is celery with raisins and peanut butter. Cups of yogurt are too easy and in good health. If you're feeling extra adventurous, try wheat whole brownie bites. Bake brownies with whole wheat flour and cut them face-to-face one inch. They can be a success at the dinner table.
