Designed by Jean de Chelles circa 1260, the Southern Rose Window (42 feet wide) was completely rebuilt for the second time in the 19th century. Still retaining the original 13th-century glass, it stands today as an exquisite achievement in the history of glass art. Christ Triumphant is the window's central image. Surrounding Christ are the 12 Apostles. Surrounding the Apostles are the 24 Martyrs. The Martyr Virgins, shown with crowns of martyrdom, are encircled by Angels around the window's outer edge. The Southern Rose Window, also known as The Triumph of Christ, is a great celebration of, and tribute to, faith.Price:
